We would like to welcome our new DPhil students Hannah Jones, Martin Meier, Victoria Strutt and Laura Wheatley, and also our new Part II (Masters) student Milo Shen. We wish them all the best with their respective projects.

We at the Oxford Atom Probe are delighted to announce confirmation of EPSRC funding for a new LEAP 5000 XS atom probe. The installation of this instrument will further enhance our research potential, with the capacity for heightened mass resolution. We hope installation will occur sometime in late 2019. A big thank you to everyone involved in the successful bid.
After 31 years APT&M will again be hosted by Oxford Atom Probe Group at Keble College 7th-10th July. More information will follow.
Congratulations to Dr Paul Bagot for winning the APT&M 2018 Wiley Poster Prize with his work "Microstructural Investigation of an Fe-Ni Meteorite by Complementary APT and 3D Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy".
